Japanese guy praying at a shrine. Here you have to ring the bell (yank on that humongo rope in front), clap twice, close your eyes, bow and make a prayer.
This shrine has a really big one in the middle of a courtyard, and is surrounded by several other smaller shrines. Set in the middle of a Kyoto shopping district (so as soon as you exit the shrine you see people walking around with shopping bags). |
