It's apparently very normal to see people walking around in Kimonos in a completely modern-westernized city. I've seen people in full kimonos in supermarkets, restaurants, department stores, buses, taxis, subways.... Whenever I ask if I can take a picture, they always shy away and say "Nono, I'm not that pretty!" o.o
