• Saturday, July 15 2006 @ 3:05 AMMy first collaborative wall - three people total, including myself. This was made for The Battleground wars - our team's name is Dafeiji.
  
  Zaresh did the overall background + the lovely death clock, Harakiri did the archs, and I did the main character + touchups and crows.
  This was actually finished about a week ago. We weren't allowed to post anything until the judging was over.
  
  The rules for the battle were as follows:
  Anime: Noir
  Work collaboratively - a trio to one wallpaper
  ie: the number of wallpapers you should make in total is :
  ( no. active members / 3 ) rounded down - groups of 4 ok, but no pairs!
  eg for 17 people you will have 3 groups of 3 and 2 groups of 4, making 5 walls.
  For AWOL calculation, each team that fails to deliver a wallpaper will be deducted -9% or -12% accordingly per number of people in the group.
  One character per wall, no duplicates.
  Mandatory: the first 4 walls must feature Mireille, Kirika, Chloe, Altena (in that order). Any remaining walls may feature any minor character of your choice. eg: Silvana, Remy Breffort, Claude Bouquet...
  Characters must be vectored.
  The wall must feature the character in some indoor or outdoor setting. There is no restriction on the style used to render the scene, however.
  Each wallpaper must feature a different timepiece / timekeeping device.
  Alarm clock and grandfather's clock are different, pocketwatch and wristwatch are different. Clocks and watches are boring - up to bonus +5% to be awarded for unconventional timepieces, at judges' discretion
  Size: minimum 1280 width, of any format.
  Wager: 50 exp / land
  Deadline: 8 Jul (postponed)
  
  
  So what happened in the end?
  A submarine hit us! Apparently we had a complete tie - so the judging rested on some outside force (some rule which I don't know too much about). Oh well. We had fun =).
