The Synopsis
Fifteen-year-old Himeno Awayuki experiences one life-changing event after another, all the while trying to find some sort of acceptance and love in each new version of her life. Her father, a famed romance novelist who has decided on an early retirement, and a very wealthy woman fall in love with each other and decide to get married. Himeno moves into her new stepmother's big mansion and meets her two stepsisters, Mawata Awayuki and Mayune Awayuki. As she finds herself lost in the maze of loneliness, she literally runs into Hayate, a member of the magical force of Leafe Knights. Through an interesting road of humor and generous helpings of frustration, Himeno becomes the legendary pretear who merges her powers with those of the Leafe knights to battle the Princes of Disaster. The main idea here is to keep the Princess of Disaster from stealing all the Leafe, which provides the basis for all life. Himeno begins to learn the value of protecting those she loves, and all the while her curious relationship with Hayate begins to blossom.
