The Review
First Impression
In the beginning I was thinking "oh another Akuma de Soro." But then it turned out somewhat differently - more like a twist of Akuma de Soro and Red River, where the main character actually has some admirable characteristics (aka. not just cute girlyness).
The Artwork
Crazy hair on the characters (just like in Akuma de Soro), but again also very pretty. Half-punk, manwha (korean manga) type style.
Overall Impression
Another sports-otaku series, but with a nice shojo theme. In some areas it did feel like it was running out of gas, but it's picking up :).
It's different in that it's able to focus on the main character and her own adventure, while only grazing the surface of what the other characters are doing. Very much about independence, growth, and slice-of-life.Breaking It Down
The Pros - Fair to BOTH genders!!
- Good read for sports- and shojo-lovers.
The Cons - Slightly generic storyline, nothing too new with character development.
