To be honest, the name of the series the first time I heard about it from a friend was a turnoff - why "Bleach"? No clue. Yet.
The drawings are generally very good. However, sometimes when the characters are turning, especially Rukia, the images become out of proportion for a few seconds and make the transition rather awkward - these don't happen too often though.
My favorite episode was definitely the first one - haha I like strong female characters. The only other bit of criticism I will add so far is how old this kind of plot is. Although this series is not the only one with this problem, I guess since it's new I felt like saying something about it ^^.
Pretty good. There are times when the faces of the characters get a little bit out of proportion when turning, but other than that, nicely done.
An almost complete 180 from my initial impression of the anime - a very male-oriented, testosterone-focused series (kinda like lots of DBZ, except maybe with a little less scream time...).
If you like fighting (which I do), and can deal with horribly weak female characters (which I can't), this isn't a bad series.
