When I first saw this series, it was actually on Cartoon Network. Which really meant two things: 1) I had to WAIT like a week for each episode, and 2) I did get to see it on the big screen, rather than on the smaller-res computer monitor.
Loved the graphics from the get-go. And while the story started out as a pretty cliché war-ridden universe on the edge of collapse, it was easy to jump into the series as you got more familiar with each character's take on the war.
Beautiful. However, sometimes the characters would look just a little bit different in another scene. I really like the eyes this time, and the ZAFT uniforms are awesome.
I found the TV Series very enjoyable. In fact, it was excellent! The story is beautiful--the irony of Kira fighting his childhood friend whom he hadn't seen in years, of being forced to pit himself, a Coordinator, against other Coordinators, taking the side of the Naturals for the sake of protecting Life--whether it be the life of a Natural or Coordinator. The only times I felt iffy were when Kira started bursting out crying...that was a bit awkward. Yeah..he is a bit of a crybaby, but he's a completely different person when he's piloting the gundam. The art is also very beautiful--one of the rare ones. However, the inexperience shows in the drawings--sometimes the characters will look like different people when shown from a different angle, etc. Other than that, this is among my TOP favorites :).
