Hello there! I love this page. Thank you so much for all the work you put in here!
Today I was confronted with a SFX that has no explanation here: シャワ シャワ. The image is the outside view of a school, the SFX is located in front of one of the windows. Can you perhaps help me out?
Many thanks!
eleanor

@Ana Clara
Seems to be the SFX for pouring milk.

タプ and タプン in this pic http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/8158/tapu.png seems to be something like *splash* or *slosh* from the context. Is that a correct assumption?

チャリン looks like it's exactly the same as チャリーン, but this spelling wasn't in the db. I think it should be added just in case.

Kawaii-Chan, bowan is a SFX of, as you say, something magically appearing. "bo" is the sound of a small explosion and "wan" gives the image of the smoke coming out. Wan is more like the sound "poof."
Ana Clara, the link is gone but it sounds like it is the SFX of something is pouring out. *glug*glug*
hope you can understand my English...

Here's a photo of two pages from the manga, bowan appears many times, just to show you:

Note: On the top left and bottom right of the image are bowan as well.
I see now its a quick movement, I just thought it had more meaning. Thanks for helping. :)
